Your steam review needs revising. Judging a games performance off of "watts used on the GPU" is worthless. Any game you're running with an unlocked frame rate is always going to pull max watts unless there's a big CPU bottleneck. It really makes you lose credibility to state something so foolish. Any well optimized game with an unlocked frame rate will always try to pull max frames, which means it's always going to use 100% of the GPU. There's a reason performance is judged on fps.

109k 'subscribers' with a load of videos having less than 100 views, yeah seems legit, why any publisher would want to give you a free copy of there game is baffling especially when you recommend pirating games, but even more so when you have no idea what you're talking about, looking at several of your hundreds of negative reviews which is all you seem to know how to do you're a complete clown.

do you mean 1440p when you say 2K? People make this mistake often but 2K is actually 1080p. 1440p would be better defined as 2.5K if you were going to say it like that. Look it up on Wikipedia they explain it there.

I agree we should keep an eye on devs past history with EA but a) it's a little disingenuous to hold a publishers dev-side to account for a 3rd developers falling behind/abandoning a game b) a single reference point is hardly a "track record" appreciate the video just the same! probably holding off for a little bit myself but I hope things go well for them as I loved the demo

Are you seriously recommending people to pirate games when you receive codes for free? Morally and ethically correct to pirate games from Ubisoft, lol. So it's ethical to Steal and push people out of jobs? Then you wonder why there are so many layoffs... because among others, UA-camrs recommend people to pirate games instead of being fair with their reviews. I got Republic of Pirates and I liked it quite a bit, and I love my city builders and colony management games. Unsubbed.

I played the demo and just saw your review on Steam, I agree with you on the amount of mobs that spawn, and they do get round your walls with ease, I know you are supposed to close the rifts/caves the mobs spawn from, but.... When you get that many mobs they will destroy the base by the time you have destroyed their rift. I am holding off for now getting the game, thanks for the video helped me decide a lot. Subbed.

After playing 8hours more, my recommendation still stands. Here is my updated steam review: steamcommunity.com/id/lfpg/recommended/1746930 The game costs $29... and that is actually worth it imo. It's $10 cheaper than My Time at Sandrock, so both of these are similar in many ways, but this game does a lot of stuff that Sandrock doesn't (and vice-versa), so it comes down to personal preference.

The game runs horrible no matter what. They said in their update post they’re trying to optimize it but why would they release it like this?? Seems sketchy. Getting stuck in random spots, the bicycle is horrible to move, the town feels so empty and lonely.

What the fuck are you on about relating wattage directly to performance and then using that to make a claim about requiring a 4080 or 4090 to run this game at 4K.

this is the most basic and generic stealth and combat I have ever seen... we've seen this with the past 10 ubisoft games. nothing new, nothing different, nothing innovative. They really are just slapping the star wars IP on this and hoping it will sell. And with the disaster that was the acolyte episode 3, ive finally come to the realization that star wars is well and truly dead. I can't believe I am at the point in my life where the mention of new star wars content not only brings me no joy, but fills me with dread wondering what they will ruin next. I have officially given up. Well done disney, you literally made a life long fan now apathetic to something that used to bring such much happiness and excitement.. OK screw it, I'm seriously tired of games with 'strong female' main characters, it's such a joke. Irl she'd be killed by the first grunt she encounters. I'm tired of watching main character woman running at the speed of a toddler on a scooter and somehow outrunning an entire group of people pursuing her. She has the strength of a two year old. See her sneaking up on and taking out a guard? Yeah no, Irl if she tried that, the guard would laugh at her attempt and then break her neck. I'm tired of pretending like the main character woman is all strong and powerful, we a know this is bs. She's not beating anyone up, she'd trip over her own two feet, fall and break her neck if she tried actually having a fight against a trained man. These games with main character females all expect you to suspend belief and pretend like these women can stand up to armies when really they wouldnt be as to do much of anything against anybody. If this gane would be more realistic she'd get beat up by the first common thug she encounters, game over.
